We are back & more

The King Under Me, 2011

After a one month & a half trip back to Moro & my hometowns (Japan/China), we are finally back to New York.

This is the longest trip we went together so far. We went to alot of places, took a lot of photos. & We even participated in a short film called “Otaku (a Japanese term for people who stay at home all the time) Radio Station” in Shanghai. Moro was one of the leading actors in the movie, I worked as the art/photography director. The film is directed by Leon Cheng. The team in Shanghai is still in the final editing process, hopefully it will be out by the end of July.

& most importantly, PIMO band (by Pixy & Moro) has finally made debut. We recorded several of our songs on video.

More PIMO videos can be viewed on my website. Also check out our facebook page.

Great news before flight

April 29th, 2011

I’ll be on a flight to China in a couple of hours. Right before my trip, I got two good news.

One is I’m a selected winner of  Magenta Foundation’s Flash Forward – Emerging Photographers 2011

The other one is I’m a finalist of ITS#PHOTO.

I got the good news of Hey Hot Shot 2008 right after I landed on a flight.

Maybe I should fly more.

Calender Sale results

January 12th, 2011

Thanks to everyone who bought our two calendars & helped us spreading the words. So far, we have made more than $500, more than 100 copies were sold.

To keep up with the good sale, we decided to drop the price from $15.6 to $10.6 from now on. Apart from the cost, each calendar will donate $5 to Pats.

Finally the calendar I personally curated called “Harmonious Society“ is available for sale, including photos from members of Chinese Youth Camera Club. It’s holiday sale right now for $14.20. All proceeds from this calendar will be donated to The Pediatric HIV/AIDS Treatment Support Project (PATS) for Aids Orphans in Fuyang, China. This calendar is design by Lan Xu.

Another calendar curated by Taca Sui is avaible as well. So you have more choice. All proceeds from this calendar will be donated to The Pediatric HIV/AIDS Treatment Support Project (PATS) for Aids Orphans in Fuyang, China as well.
This calendar is designed by Helen Zhai.
